Sagittarius on the Fifth

When Gemini sits on the cusp of your eleventh house, this whole area of life takes on Gemini's manner. The eleventh house is chosen company: friends, groups, movements and networks — and the long-range hopes you are working toward with them.

The eleventh house naturally belongs to Aquarius, so having Gemini here tilts it: the group you belong to handled quickly, verbally, and from several angles at once rather than in Aquarius's way.

What it looks like

Who are my people, and what are we building? With Gemini here, you answer it quickly, verbally, and from several angles at once. The strengths of the sign land squarely in this department:

• Learns fast and explains clearly
• Genuinely curious about everyone
• Adapts before a situation hardens

At its best, this corner of your life is bright, funny, endlessly interested.

Follow the ruler

This is the step most people skip. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, so the condition of your eleventh house depends on where Mercury sits in your chart — its sign, its house, and the aspects it makes. A Gemini eleventh cusp with Mercury in the tenth reads very differently from the same cusp with Mercury in the twelfth.

Get your birth chart report and find Mercury — then read the eleventh house with that placement in mind.

Where it strains

Under pressure Gemini goes scattered, restless, hard to pin down, and here that shows up specifically in friendship, networks, causes.

• Interest that moves on before mastery
• Nervous energy with nowhere to land
• Talks around a feeling rather than into it

The axis it belongs to

Every house cusp has an opposite. With Gemini on the eleventh, Sagittarius sits on your fifth house. The two work as a pair: what you do in one, you balance in the other.
